Inclusive Learning by Design
Welcome to the California Coalition for Inclusive Learning (CCIL) universal resources. It is our intent that educators in a variety of roles, find resources to support their practice in universally designing learning experiences for all learners. In anticipation to the barrier of time, we’ve designed three ways to engage on a particular topic:
Past and future slides and video recordings
One-doc stops present best practices related to the topic
Flexibility to choose your learning pathway based on the amount of time available
Upcoming Webinar! A Multiple Means Approach to Caregiver, Family, and Community Partnerships
Monday, September 30, 2024 | 3:30 – 4:30 pm PT
Join us for an engaging webinar on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and its potential to strengthen caregiver, family, and community partnerships. We will explore how UDL principles of designing multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression can be leveraged to improve school culture by providing access and agency to families and caregivers by honoring variability and removing or minimizing barriers. We'll also discuss how building authentic partnerships enhances educational equity, provides real-world learning opportunities, and supports the holistic development of all students. Perfect for educators, administrators, and community members, this webinar will offer actionable insights and tools to create and sustain more inclusive and supportive learning environments..
At CAST we believe that variability is the norm! We'd love your feedback on these iterative resources!
